Family portrait: Bountiful, Utah
I enjoy doing these family portraits. This one is a throwback to the childhood of the Mabey girls, and is a gift for their mom. Thanks to Emily and her sisters for being such great collaborators.

I just love these! Great work. Must have taken a long time. Do you block out the background with gesso when adding the people?
Hey, Christa! Thank you! Yes it did take a fair spell. However, I just paint right over the background, no problem!
